Heatwave alerts have spread to other regions… Seoul will peak at 34°C tomorrowNews

More sweltering conditions are expected in South Korea this weekend. Now that the rain has subsided, a wave of warm, humid air will become widespread tomorrow. The capital region will be scorching hot, with readings hovering between 33 and 34 degrees Celsius.

Almost the entire country is now under heat wave alert. Most inland regions, including the capital, are subject to heatwave advisories. Being exposed to extreme heat can lead to illness, so be sure to stay indoors as much as possible.

South Korea will be under the direct influence of “Typhoon Aere” early next week. Although the projected trajectory is subject to change, for now, Aere is expected to reach the waters off Jeju Island by next Tuesday. This will bring heavy downpours to the south of the country, so for those in the area, be sure to refer to the latest weather forecast.

For tomorrow’s readings, the morning lows in Seoul and Daejeon will start at 24 degrees Celsius.

As for daily highs, Seoul will hit 34 degrees. Daegu 36. Daejeon and Gwangju 35 degrees.

The entire nation can expect another round of heavy downpours next week.

That’s all for now, and here are the weather conditions around the world.
